Hi there!

The photo up top is me attempting yoga with my twin baby girls. These two monkeys are my world, but when I'm not kid-wrangling; I am a passionate holistic health & nutrition coach + doTERRA Wellness Advocate.

Personally I am also a horse-riding, animal-loving, yoga-doing, essential-oil-using, flexitarian, left handed Scorpio from Alice Springs in the Northern Territory of Australia.

I love all things nutritional science and essential oils and have made it my life's purpose to empower other busy women to use these beautiful gifts of the Earth to live their best life.

What I stand for;

  • Ditching diets and becoming ‘flexitarian’, or what I describe as simply being flexible with food. Being Flexitarian means eating in a way that is nourishing not only to your beautifully unique body, but also your mind and lifestyle too. Eating should nourish ALL of you and be free from deprivation, product dependency or restrictive rules.
  • I believe that armed with the perfect match of good nutrition and essential oils you can support your body in healing everyday health complaints. This magic combo is also a powerful preventative for chronic lifestyle diseases, boosting immunity and giving you an incredible healthy glow.
  • Good Nutrition + Essential Oils has most bases covered and will get you most of the way to abundant health. But I am also a holistic practitioner and strongly advocate a holistic approach to dealing with health concerns. Because one of the biggest causes of inflammation in the body and illness is neither dietary nor due to chemical exposures; but STRESS. So to complete the trifecta, stress management and mindfulness are just as important as what you put on and in your body.

How I work:

I offer individual nutrition consultations, essential oils classes and occasional group workshops in person and online. I also run two growing Facebook support groups where I hold monthly virtual classes on all things food and essential oils. Click on the group badges for Flexitarian Foodies and Armed With Nature to join the conversation!

My Story So Far – from ‘inexplicable’ guts ache to symptom-free certified health coach.

At 21 years old I was hit with a particularly nasty round of gastro, spending over a week in bed and dosed with antibiotics. I had no idea at the time, but this completely wiped out my gut bacteria sending my health down the toilet. Over the course of a few years, I had multiple doctor visits, specialists in Adelaide, uncomfortable screening procedures, blood tests, drugs and more blood tests.

Cutting a long and shitty story short (pun intended!), I was given a ‘diagnosis’ of IBS (or Irritable Bowel Syndrome). I also got a loooonnnggg list of foods to avoid and prescription drugs for the tummy cramping. Yay.

If you’re unfamiliar with the term, IBS is like a ‘catch all’ diagnosis for inexplicable gut problems. Although my case was technically only mild, it was still one of the most frustrating and isolating experiences I've ever had.

After my diagnosis was confirmed, I started researching the term and ways of managing it without taking medication. I spent hours and hours sifting through tonnes of research papers, diet ideologies, online articles and any information I could get my hands on. Which eventually led me into my studies at IIN and a complete career change into the world of health coaching.

What my life is like now

IBS is not a problem for me anymore. I now eat whatever, whenever I want, without nervously scouting the nearest bathroom facilities. More than that, I have clear skin, I manage my weight without really thinking about it. I also have some real confidence – something I never thought possible!

It probably sounds completely nuts, but I am eternally grateful for that nasty bout of gastro that started all this!

Without this experience I would not have found my passion for natural health, nutrition and chemical-free living... nor had the profound pleasure of meeting the incredible people that have inspired me through it all!

My Qualifications

In 2015 I completed my Health Coaching Training Program through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition - a world-class nutritional school in New York, USA. I studied with a huge number of leading health practitioners, everything from renowned doctors to naturopaths, nutritionists, psychologists and more. In 2017, I also graduated as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 coach and I will complete my Bachelor in Health Science (Nutrition) in the near future.

I never ever stop learning, upgrading my knowledge and coaching skills to help my clients reach their fullest potential and get the best possible results while working with me.
